Emic View's Teachers

 
  Glenn Glenn R. Knight, founder of Emic View has an MBA from The George Washington University, a BA in Anthropology from The University of Connecticut, and over 15 years of experience teaching English, editing, coaching students admitted into top American schools, and supporting business people from around the world.  In addition to teaching, Glenn has been published in an academic journal and has years of experience working in leadership roles in Fortune 100 companies, software development, the United States Federal Government, and in research institutions.
  Susan Susan Powell has over 30 years of experience in teaching. She graduated from the Juilliard School with a Bachelors and a Master's degree in Music Performance. In addition to teaching with Emic View, LLC, Susan currently is a member of the Hartt Community Division faculty where she enjoys teaching students from beginner to college levels. Susan also teaches at the Loomis Chaffee School, Suffield Academy, and Rosemary Choate Hall. Before moving to Connecticut, she taught at Vassar and Bard Colleges in New York, as well as SUNY in New Paltz.
  Jan Janet Bennett has over 19 years of experience in teaching and speech pathology. She graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a Master of Science in Communication Disorders and from The University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. Janet's professional credentials include: Connecticut, Department of Public Health License, Speech and Language Pathologist, and Connecticut, Department of Education, Professional Educator Certificate.
  Jody Jody Orrico is a licensed elementary school teacher. She graduated from the University of Hawaii with honors after achieving a 4.0 GPA, and received her Bachelors of Education K-6 degree. She was awarded Recognition of Excellence for Teaching in 2004. She has taught children from kindergarten to sixth grade in classroom settings.
  Nic Nic Phillips has over four years of experience as a licensed elementary school educator in Vermont.  He is a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and
Design where he obtained his BFA in Computer Animation.  Since returning to Vermont, Nic has utilized his computer skills to develop innovative approaches to integrating technology into education.  
  Amy Amy Marcinko has worked as a high school science teacher for twenty years. She prides herself on having lessons which are easy to understand and appealing to all age groups. Having raised five children of her own, she understands the need to gear lessons towards the strengths and weaknesses of the individual person.  In addition to teaching in the public school system, she is now also teaching English as a Second Language to recent immigrants to her state of Vermont.
  Ricky Ricky Marquez is a licensed elementary teacher with credentials in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL).  He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Colorado State University where he practiced leading and training students through integrated curriculum.  Ricky has years of experience in the classroom and is committed to continuing to grow as a teacher.  Ricky’s belief about students is, “I believe every student is a person who deserves to be equipped with the skills needed to seek answers in life, whether it is through general subjects or language.”
  Meredith Meredith Neufeld is a licensed elementary education teacher in Virginia, with an endorsement to teach pre-k through 6th grade students.  She has taught elementary school for years, and gained insight into teaching all subjects to younger learners.  She earned both her Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Education, Curriculum, and Instruction from Virginia Tech.
